Johnny Walters has served as the lead pastor at CrossRoads for over 30 years, during which time he has repeatedly seen the miraculous hand of God at work in and through this fellowship. As a gifted story teller, he loves to recount the many “God Stories” that continually happen at CrossRoads. Johnny is passionate about the grace and powerful love of God and diligently leads our congregation in creating a safe environment where the Truth of God’s Word can lovingly transform our lives.

Johnny is a graduate of Gulf Coast Bible College (now called Mid America Christian University). Beginning in his teen years when he first sensed the call of God on his life, Johnny has served faithfully in various ministry roles such as music/worship ministry, revival ministry, youth ministry, and as associate and lead pastor. Johnny has a life long love of music that led him to a successful career as a professional musician and owner of a music show in Branson, MO. On occasion you can still catch him having fun playing the piano and leading worship.

Johnny is blessed with two beautiful daughters, their husbands, and five amazing grandchildren who keep him actively engaged in riding roller coasters, ATVs, hunting and having fun. • Children's Pastor -

Rachael is foremost passionate about her love for Jesus and having a vibrant and personal relationship with Him, then sharing with others how they, too, can experience this for themselves. As this passion was developing, she found herself naturally attracted in her youth to working with kids and their families spending her summers doing backyard Bible clubs and running VBS programs in the Four Corners region of the United States. This work continued during the summer after her Freshman year of college when she traveled to Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire in West Africa to work with local missionaries in their churches and in the local schools.

Rachael graduated from Cedarville University in 1999 with her bachelor’s in Applied Psychology with an emphasis in Child and Family studies and a minor in Bible. She has worked with children of all ages and their families, pre-born to age 18, in day cares, group homes, and residential treatment facilities. January of 2015 Rachael began working as a teacher for the Harrison school district and by December of 2015 had completed her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Central Arkansas.

Rachael loves spending time with her 2 daughters, hiking, horseback riding, and, most of all, having time to savor stillness with God.
