At CrossRoads we have a heart for our Seniors, and the joy they bring. We love one another and are quick to show it. We love to share in good food, fellowship, music and just plain ole fun!

J.O.Y. (Just Older Youth) Club Monthly Potlucks

About 11:30 am on the second Thursday of each month, a group of Just Older Youth begin bringing in covered dishes to be shared with others who enjoy good food and Christian fellowship, downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. 

We usually eat around 12:00 pm.

There is something else special about CrossRoads. Besides great cooks, we have some very talented musicians, both in the church and around the community. With the promise of a good home cooked meal, we get some great entertainers to pay us a visit! Along with the entertainment, we play bingo, answer trivia questions, or just have a good time in general. 

Along with our monthly potlucks, we embark on several road trips each year as well. Some of our trips include:

Taking the Christian Love Walk with J.O.Y. of CrossRoads Community Church

As a group we have taken on the challenge to: Do Something for Someone Everyday! Such as: say a prayer, write a note, mow a lawn, bake some cookies, walk a dog, bring in a home cooked meal, well you get the picture. Ask the Lord what creative thing He wants you to do to bless someone in need of an unexpected blessing.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that youare my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-34

We would like to invite all Just Older Youth come and share in our joy and friendship. Our group is open to all mature adults in our community, not just CrossRoads folks.
