Heart TO Hands

Heart to Hands is a ministry that enables people to show the HEART of Jesus and become His HANDS of love to the world.

  • FOOD MINISTRY

FUNERALS, NEW MOTHERS, ILLNESS-RELATED NEEDS, GIFT CARDS

Express the love of Jesus through your hands in the area of food preparation. There are various ways to serve: prepare food or help serve at funeral meals, prepare casseroles for people following surgeries or hospital stays, prepare meals for families with new babies, or volunteer to make calls for the above.

    Coordinated by Mary Marden

  • FLOWER DELIVERY MINISTRY

Occasionally there is an opportunity to deliver flowers to people who live outside city limits. Carry the love of Jesus to those who need to know their church family loves them and cares about their grief or sickness.

  • Q.U.I.L.T. MINISTRY

Q.U.I.L.T. (Quilting Uniquely Inspired Lap-Robe Treasures) is a ministry that designs and makes quilted lap-robes to be given to loved ones that are home-bound, or staying in assisted living areas, cancer centers, on dialysis, in chemo therapy or in hospice. They meet every Tuesday from 9am-Noon in the downstairs fellowship hall. They have been challenged to have 40 quilts ready in September and need your help in reaching this goal! They need Fabric (Cotton preferred) and batting materials.  If you have any of these items and would like to donate them please see Mary Marden or Kathy Padgett.

This team of people sends cards to others in our church family who are in need of support and prayers. • PROPERTY AND GROUNDS MINISTRY

We stand ready for the Holy Spirit to use our time, skills, and limited budget to assist our widows, needy, aged and sick when they have a one-time home maintenance problem...but they lack the required skills, physical abilities or funds to fix it.

  • GREETER MINISTRY

The need for CrossRoads to know itself is part of the battle of Spiritual warfare that we fight. The closer we become, the stronger and more effective we are. Our First Touch Greeter Ministry takes this challenge to heart as we purpose to welcome and connect our congregation. (1 Thess. 5:14 says "And we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.")

    Coordinated by Pastor Paul Braschler

  • USHER MINISTRY

Ushers are a very important part of making all those that pass through our sanctuary doors, especially visitors, feel welcome at CrossRoads. The Usher Ministry Team passes out bulletins, collects the offering, and assists in serving communion. Each team rotates on a monthly basis.

  • VISITATION MINISTRY

    HOSPITAL/ NURSING HOME/ ASSISTED LIVING

This area of ministry is in a new re-development phase. If you have a heart for making visits to people who are in the hospital, retirement home, or assisted living, please check into this ministry, and we will contact you with more information.

  • COFFEE BAR MINISTRY

Welcome and serve your church family from the coffee bar as we share in the sweet fellowship together.
