We are excited to announce a special celebration coming on Sunday morning, May 3rd, as we honor 40 years of God’s faithfulness through CrossRoads.


This celebration is a time to remember how, 40 years ago this spring, God led Pastor Johnny to Harrison to preach for the first time to a small church of seven faithful people. What Brother Johnny  thought would be a one-time Sunday message became a 40-year journey of ministry — one that continues today. We are living witnesses to all that God has done through CrossRoads over these years. God’s plans are always greater than anything we can see or imagine.

Tell us your God Stories!

As we celebrate, we invite you to participate by sharing your personal “God stories through CrossRoads.” We have prepared cards for you to help tell the story of God’s work in our church family.


Examples of what you might share:

  • Salvation and baptism stories
  • Times you’ve served others or been served
  • Ways the church has helped you grow spiritually
  • Encouragement you’ve received from someone at CrossRoads
  • Stories of healing, hope, and restoration
  • Celebrations such as births and dedications
  • Moments of comfort during grief or loss
  • Testimonies of life change


Cards are available for all ages:

  • Children’s cards (green)
  • Teen cards (blue)
  • Adult cards (orange)


You are welcome to complete more than one card — we encourage you to share as many stories as you’d like.


Cards can be found near the sanctuary doors and on the back counter. Completed cards may be returned in the offering boxes or in the designated “40 Year God Stories” boxes located throughout the church.


Please return all cards on or before May 3rd.
